Aims and Activities
The Friends constitution was adopted on 2nd September 1984. The constitution gives the aims as “to assist in the preservation, advancement and upkeep of the fabric of Deerhurst Church”.
The Annual Deerhurst Lecture is arranged each September on an aspect of the church’s history.
The Annual General Meeting of the Friends is usually held on the same day as the Lecture, in the afternoon.
Terms of Membership
Minimum annual subscription £6.00
10 Year Membership £50
Life Membership £300
Gift Aid subscriptions.
The Friends can recover tax on subscriptions
under the Gift Aid scheme.
