Aims and Activities

The Friends constitution was adopted on 2nd September 1984. The constitution gives the aim as “to assist in the preservation, advancement and upkeep of the fabric of  Deerhurst Church”.
The Annual Deerhurst Lecture is arranged each September on an aspect of the church’s history.
The Annual General Meeting of the Friends is usually held on the same day as the Lecture, in the afternoon.

Gift Aid subscriptions.
The Friends can recover tax on subscriptions under the Gift Aid scheme – see attached form for sending to the Treasurer.
